Dear Muris,

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time and making the effort to complete this interview. Fourth time is the charm! And I suppose the offer of free food helped too, haha. But really, thank you.

Although I can't say that I was really surprised by much from your interview, hearing your stories and the story of your family in your voice was very powerful. Stories mean so much to me - they are the only piece of heritage that I feel I have - I grew up on my father's stories about the people of my hometown. Hearing your story of coming to America reminded me of the importance of telling stories and of what America seems to be to so much of the rest of the world.
